Workforce Development Tent

Ask any employer what their top struggles are, and you’ll likely receive the same answer, “finding good help”. Employers are struggling to find employees who are a good fit for their company. Unemployment rates are extremely low, which makes the hiring process more competitive. Western Pennsylvania has dozens of higher education and training options, which are trying to maintain or increase enrollment. Workforce development is one of the biggest issues currently facing our region. As the Moraine State Park Regatta Leadership Board plans the 2019 Regatta, we recognize that in order to provide an impactful community event of this scale, that we need to recognize the needs of the region. We are looking forward to bringing workplaces and educational institutions together to educate the community about opportunities for workforce development right here in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
 

VISION:

• Companies and organizations looking to hire or expand their employee base will have the opportunity to exhibit
• Educational institutions including trade schools who are looking for students or apprentices can exhibit
• Organizations looking for a volunteer workforce can exhibit
• Tables will line the perimeter of the tent
• Chairs and tables for people to sit down and have further conversations will be in the center of the tent
• Attendees will have the opportunity to enter to win a prize
• As they enter to win a prize, they will have the ability to opt in to receive more information about current opportunities
• Workforce development tent is the closest tent to the stage, so people can enjoy the music from the tent but still be able to have conversations in the shade

OPPORTUNITIES:

$500 Workforce Development Supporter:

• Provides one table and the opportunity to showcase your company or organization in the Workforce Development Tent for both days, August 3 and 4.
• Listing on the Moraine State Park Regatta website.

$2000 Workforce Development Partner:

• Provides one table and the opportunity to showcase your company or organization in the Workforce Development Tent for both days, August 3 and 4.
• Hyperlinked listing on the Moraine State Park Regatta website as a Workforce Development Partner.
• Receives attendee information from those attendees who opted in to receive more information from Workforce Development Partners.
• Specific opportunities to be featured in the Moraine State Park Regatta email newsletter, and in the Moraine State Park Regatta social media.
• Listing in the event brochure or app as a featured Workforce Development Partner.
• Included as a Workforce Development Partner in media partnerships for the 2019 Moraine State Park Regatta.
