Armstrong County Job/Career Fair April 1, 2020

PA CareerLink® Armstrong County, Armstrong County Commissioners and Armstrong County Industrial Development Council would like to invite you to participate in a County Wide – Career/Job Fair on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, hosted by Armstrong Jr/Sr. High.
Please see the attached registration form with additional information. The form is in a fillable PDF format. Please complete and save your document then return by email or print to fax or mail.
The deadline to register is March 23, 2020. We ask if you are planning to participate, please return your registration forms as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly, and provide a list of employers in our outreach and marketing of the Job Fair portion of the day to the public.
This unique opportunity is comprised of two distinctly different events; you are welcome to participate in one or both of the events. There is no fee for your participation in either event.
- Event 1 – County Wide- Career Fair for high school students grades 9-12, from the School Districts throughout Armstrong County. This is an opportunity for them to see what occupations are available in the region, and what skills and education are needed in your current and future workforce and to help guide them in identifying their career goals. We are anticipating that Students from all the county schools will be in attendance at the Employer Question and Answer Panel that will be held in the Auditorium.
- Event 2 – Open to the Public Job Fair – We will conclude the day with a region wide public Job Fair from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for you to recruit/hire Job Seekers from around the region for any current or future needs you have. The PA CareerLink staff are available to assist you with posting any Job Openings prior to the event on the PA CareerLink Website www.pacareerlink.pa.gov. This will also help us advertise to the public and provide them with a list of employers who are currently hiring.
