Butler Area Entrepreneurship Academy Needs Community Support:

For your immediate attention: Deadline 9/30/18

Dear Butler Community:
I am writing to you concerning a sponsorship opportunity with an innovative educational program in Butler County. The Entrepreneurship Academy (EA), facilitated by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV and located on campus at Butler County Community College, is a grant and privately funded project. In its fifth year of operation, the Academy serves the seven school districts in Butler County. The Academy provides high school seniors with tools and experiences such that they develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to be successful in an ever-changing economy and workplace. We would be happy to count you among the stakeholders who have shown a vested interest in our region and the development of its young people. At this time, we have an immediate need. The four classroom 3D Printers we purchased last year for our classroom makerspace are being discontinued. We have been offered a trade-in for new
FlashForge Inventor IIS 3D Printers, but the offer is good only through September 30th.

As a supporter, you will be listed on our EAcademy website, along with these sponsor rewards:
A: $50 to $150 – Our students will make you a custom 3D printed business card desk accessory
B: $150-$300 – “A” rewards plus a custom engraved wooden nameplate and vinyl name sticker
C: $399 and up (1 machine or more): “A” and “B” rewards plus a social media story about you created
by our students. See the insert enclosed for details.
We appreciate you considering our proposal for sponsorship. Please feel free to call me for additional information about The Entrepreneurship Academy by MIU IV @ BC3.
