IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program

Catalyst Connection is excited to announce the expansion of its IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program this school year. This was made possible by a grant from the US Department of Labor and the Appalachian Regional Commission. This program is instrumental in guiding high school students toward meaningful careers in manufacturing, especially as evolving technologies demand higher skills from entry-level workers. Recognizing the challenges employers face in recruiting and retaining skilled workers, Catalyst Connection has developed two state-registered Pre-Apprenticeship programs: IMT Pre-Apprenticeship and Advanced IMT Pre-Apprenticeship. These interconnected programs enable students to earn seven industry-recognized certifications upon successful completion, paving the way for a prosperous future in manufacturing.
